The most common premium scooter I see in DC, and a genuinely well-built machine. Apollo's own support is decent but slow on parts, so most of my Apollo work is people who don't want to wait three weeks for a warranty ticket.

If yours is still in warranty, use it — I will tell you when that is the better call. What I am good for is everything after that, and everything the warranty was never going to cover.

What I usually find

  • Stem wobble on early City models. Almost always the folding mechanism rather than the stem itself. Shims and a proper torque spec fix it permanently, and it does not need a new stem assembly.
  • Display water ingress after a wet winter. The gasket is the real culprit. A replacement display without addressing the seal just buys you another season.
  • Rear hydraulic brakes gone spongy. Usually a bleed and a pad set, not the caliper. The Apollo hydraulics are good hardware and worth maintaining rather than swapping.
  • Cable chafe where the harness passes through the stem. Worth catching early — a chafed motor cable is a dead scooter at the worst possible moment.

Parts and lead times

I keep the common Apollo wear items on the shelf: pads, cables, valve stems, folding-mechanism hardware. Controllers and displays are ordered per job and can take one to three weeks depending on the model — that estimate goes in your quote, not into a phone call afterwards.

What it costs

Apollo work prices off the standard sheet — see what things cost. Ghost and Phantom repairs land at the upper end of the ranges more often than City repairs, because there is simply more machine to take apart.

Bringing one in

Tell me the model, the model year if you know it, and what the scooter is doing — send a request and I'll text you back the same day. Photos of the display and of anything that looks wet or scorched save us both a step.

Apollo acting up? Let's have a look.

Model, symptom, a couple of photos. I'll text you back the same day, usually with the likely cause before you drop it off.
